These are size medium, and as such the \"Special\" script isn't present (only on L\/XL sizes).  Straps are Alfredo Binda non laminated in perfectly broken in shape. These are early 1980's, as the buckle rollers are black plastic (earlier were brass) \u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\r\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cspan style=\"font-size: medium;\"\u003eLyotard's most popular pedal was named after Marcel Berthet, the three-time holder of the Hour Record.  The pedals were produced from the 1920s through the mid 80's with few variations.  They're popular with the randonneur crowd as well as roadies and even pista riders.  They have a very wide platform which makes them quite comfortable.  \u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\r\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cspan style=\"font-size: medium;\"\u003e\u003cstrong\u003eCondition\u003c\/strong\u003e\u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\r\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cspan style=\"font-size: medium;\"\u003ePedals: Near mint very lightly used shape. The bodies, dust caps and platforms have minimal marks. Bearings feel buttery as new and well adjusted.  The right pedal's toe flip has light discolored\/worn chrome spots (see pics), and one dust cap has a light scrape on just it's bottom edge.  Show worthy otherwise\u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\r\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cspan style=\"font-size: medium;\"\u003eClips: Just about mint.
