Its a mottled orange-ish red that evokes memories of your favorite shag rug from the 70's. It's quite vibrant and alive. If you look at it once you may think it's red, but look at a different spot and it'll appear more orange. Your eye almost can't decide what color it is as the colors blend seamlessly together. No scuffs\/scrapes\/tears\/holes. The main thing to note is varying dirt imbedded in the fibers of the suede, which adds to the charm of the saddle rather than detract from it.
