This set has had the anodizing removed and then polished to a mirror finish.  They come with their original alloy mounting bolts *Important: the cranks need to be tightened down with steel bolts, then you can put the alloy bolts in. Fresh polish with only a few miles since.  They present very close to pristine. The beauty of them being polished is if they're somehow not clean enough or you scratch them, you can just polish it up further! The arm ends have a few little scratches, and otherwise only a couple TINY imperfections not worth mentioning.  Tapers are slightly rounded but hold a spindle just fine.
