This is the rare top shelf fillet brazed version, most were tig welded. \u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\r\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cspan style=\"font-size: medium;\"\u003eBullmoose handlebars were the invent of Tom Ritchey in 1980, and the name came from Charlie Kelly.  Ritchey was unsatisfied with the strength and rigidity of  the current stem offerings from the road and touring markets.  The main complaint was the bar would spin in the stem clamp.  So, he built one that was unable to spin and was super long for manhandling the bike.  The result was this bar was used on the majority of early mountain bkes through about 1985.  \u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\r\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cstrong\u003e\u003cspan style=\"font-size: medium;\"\u003eCondition\u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/strong\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\r\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cspan style=\"font-size: medium;\"\u003eNear mint to mint with very little use.  They could very well be take-offs.  Only the usual microscratching and a few minor marks here and there.
