Otherwise it is quite similar to the other 8 speed models.  It has date stamp 41 in a square, indicating 1988 build (first year Athena was made!). \u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\r\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cspan style=\"font-size: medium;\"\u003eThis has upgraded metal dust caps from the 1988 1st gen Chorus \u003cspan\u003e706\/101.  The Athena caps are plastic with shield logos.  *I do have a pair of the original Athena chainrings in fairly nice condition.
