one of the best choices for vintage touring bikes.  It came on many early 80's models like the Trek 620 and 520.  Rather hard to find NOS or even great shape!\u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e \u003cp\u003e\u003cspan style=\"font-size: medium;\"\u003eThe first version of the DuoPar had a lot of titanium parts, but was prohibitively expensive.  Thus, it didn't sell well and this Eco model to have invented the first alloy brakeset.  In the 70's and 80's they were one of the very few Italian bicycle companies producing components that weren't just Campy clones.  They're reguarded as the mechanical equals of Campagnolo.\u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e \u003cp\u003e\u003cspan style=\"font-size: medium;\"\u003eThis derailleur is a Criterium Oro (Oro means \"Gold\" in Italian) and is quite a gorgeous piece!  This appears to be a 1st generation model, around 1976 or a bit later.  The faceplate and cage are anodized in a brilliant gold.  The face features the Galli name surrounded by little raised bumps.  These are quite rare!\u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e \u003cp\u003e\u003cstrong style=\"font-size: medium;\"\u003eCondition \u003c\/strong\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e \u003cp\u003e\u003cspan style=\"font-size: medium;\"\u003eNear mint, very lightly used shape.  This one came off a customer's 1970's Dawes.  He says it has under 500 miles on it.  Practically no scratching.  Absolutely no scrapes.  Anodizing looks great.  Pulleys are buttery smooth.  Hardware looks great.  You'll be hard pressed to find a nicer one that isn't
